Voetballen!

Voetbal is een verbindende sport tussen individuen, gemeenschappen 

en landen. FC Breukelen heeft een tas vol voetbal t-shirts, shorts en sokken gegeven aan de voetbal club van het lyceum van Aklakou. Dank jullie wel!

De stichting Togo Tourism & Development heeft er nog een paar voetballen bij gedaan. De spullen zijn door Ekue Leopold Messan van de stichting overhandigd in december 2014 in het lyceum, onder toeziend oog van lokale authoriteiten, leraren en leerlingen.

Een foto met de voetbalploeg in de nieuwe kleding volgt zodra de 1e wedstrijd weer wordt gespeeld in 2015!

Hear hear! Binnenkort is het dan zover en zal er een webshop zijn met producten uit Togo die hier al her en der op de website staan. Excited!!

Samenwerking met Salon d'Afrique in Rotterdam

Salon d'Afrique

Sinds vorige week zijn een aantal van onze producten te bewonderen, te passen en te koop bij Salon d'Afrique in het prachtige historische Delfshaven in Rotterdam, Voorstraat 13. Zie hieronder een aantal foto's van producten die daar te vinden zijn (colberts, t-shirts, korte broeken, babyslabbetjes, laptop-en tablet tassen/hoezen, telefoonhoesjes en riemen). Te bezichtigen tm eind augustus, sla nu je slag! De opbrengst wordt geïnvesteerd in de stichting.

Tip: mocht je iets willen maar met net een andere maat of kleur, neem contact met ons op!

- Afrikadagen @ Burger's Zoo in Arnhem 30 April, 1 and 2 May 2014 from 12h-20h.
From 16h onwards tickets for the zoo will be reduced by 50% to 9,50 Euro. A program with African music, food and a market is offered and we will be present with our products and projects.

Visit to Togo in January 2014

Activities carried out during our visit were several related to different projects.

Food security project

Several monitoring and coachings meetings were carried out with the project team responsible for the coordination and execution of the project. The project is almost halfway and will be evaluated in August. A representative of the Anton Jurgens Foundation (AJF) that financially supports the project visited Aklakou as well and was very enthousiastic about the way of work and results so far. Adjoguin languag project
We visited to the Adjoguin community to hand over an album with pictures of the meeting held with them in August, when linguists were present to record some of the songs. The documentation is in process, for which we are still looking for funds. More information on this project can be found here.

Tourism
New ideas have been developed for hiking and biking tours. More information will soon be put here. Contacts have been established with several actors working on promoting responsible community based tourism in order to develop projects with communities in the soutern part of Togo.
